Free accounts can browse and run five searches a day. Generating video requires a paid plan. Read plans and prices or about us.

Free cannot generate, extend, remix, talk to the directing agent, write a shot plan, upload to the library, or buy credit packs. Generate always asks you to upgrade — it is not an “out of credits” error.

About 80 credits is one 10-second clip. Failed or never-started jobs refund the credits they spent. If generate is queued, the seat is working — wait, do not open a second checkout.

Pro is $79/month (about $63/month billed yearly). It charges when you subscribe — no trial — and grants 1,500 credits. Pro includes 1080p generate, a priority queue, and three jobs at once.

Studio is $200/month (about $160/month billed yearly). Same rule: pay on subscribe, 5,000 credits, more storage, and 4K when that quality is on. Enterprise is custom — email hello@thevideogen.com. It is not a self-serve checkout price.

On a paid seat, cinematic search, pins, and shot plans stay available after credits run out. Generate asks you to buy a fuel pack or wait for next month’s grant. About 80 credits is one 10-second clip.

Fuel packs (paid seats only): Boost 500 credits for $12, Pack 2,000 for $40, Reel 10,000 for $180. Free cannot buy packs to skip the upgrade. Open pricing or Settings → Plans.

Failed or never-started jobs refund the credits they spent. A finished clip does not refund if you later cancel the subscription.

Card, invoices, plan changes, and cancel live in the Stripe Customer Portal. Sign in and open Settings → Spending → Manage billing. Cancel takes effect at the end of the period. You keep the seat until then. Unused credits do not refund.

If a payment fails, generate stays locked until the invoice is paid. Fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires it or we say otherwise in Terms. Failed or never-started generate jobs refund credits automatically.
