What are reference roles?
Tell the agent what each reference is for: look, character, motion or style.

A reference can mean different things. The same photograph might be there for its lighting, or for the person in it. Roles remove that ambiguity.
- look — lighting, palette and grade
- char — the character or subject to carry through
- motion — the camera move or action to follow
- style — the overall treatment
Roles matter most when you pin several references at once, because they decide which reference wins where the two disagree.
